A key question is: How can the AME Church harness its abolitionist history and revolutionary faith of yesterday to liberate our people today? Participants will grapple with social and political problems confronting U.S. democracy and Black communities and identify strategies to empower their congregations to dismantle oppressive systems with the prophetic call of justice and to lead a faith-based abolitionist movement.
